Great news! The City of Victoria has secured an interim pool location during the Crystal Pool replacement project. The facility at 851 Broughton Street (currently the YMCA/YWCA) will be upgraded and reopen in fall 2026 to provide continued access to swimming, fitness, and recreation programs during construction.

Construction is well underway on the Belleville Terminal Redevelopment Project, which will create a safe, secure, and modern international gateway in Victoriaโ€™s Inner Harbour. Recent work includes environmental and structural assessments, utility disconnections, and ongoing demolition of the old terminal and wharf.
Upcoming activities through December include dredging and improved site access.
Collaboration with the Songhees and Xwsepsum Nations continues, with cultural monitors, educational fencing panels, and discussions on incorporating lษ™kฬ“สทษ™ล‹ษ™n art into the new terminal.
