Join Patagonia Victoria on April 24 for a film night and panel discussion in collaboration with the Nature Based Solutions Foundation (NBSF). You will learn critical conservation solutions for old growth forests in BC and the importance of Indigenous Protected and Conserved areas (IPCA’s). We will be showcasing 3 films that explore the broader work of NBSF in protecting endangered ecosystems while supporting local conservation economies. You will also get to see a special community spotlight on ƛ̓əq̓ƛ̓áq̓tn̓mx (Kanaka Bar Indian Band) and their groundbreaking work protecting Indigenous culture and some BC’s rarest old-growth forests.
The evening will conclude with a panel discussion, where we will explore connections among the featured films and discuss practical solutions for ensuring that both people and ecosystems can thrive together.

Bring your broken items and fix your item on the spot with the help of volunteer fixers. You can bring anything from small appliances, bikes, clothing, and furniture (i.e. wobbly chair)! Learn how to repair your stuff to you can do it yourself next time, and save something from going into the landfill.
Due to high demand, we ask that participants only bring ONE item to fix. We want to help as many people as possible.
