Part 2 – Eco‑Solidarity Talking Circle
🗓 Saturday, August 16
🕒 10:30 am–12:00 pm PST/3:00–4:30 pm NDT

🧡 More about these Circles:
In these circles, we’ll explore how to move through eco‑grief to form a community of care and uphold our relations. An Anishinaabe counsellor and a Mi’kmaq land protector will guide us in this shared space of reflection, connection, and healing.
Beth Jacobs (they/them) is a Two-Spirit helper—a counsellor, researcher, community advocate, and beader. Their patrilineal family are Anishinaabe from Walpole Island First Nation (Bkejwanong), and their matrilineal roots are Settler (Irish-English) from Newfoundland and Labrador.
With over fifteen years of experience in social justice, equity, and collective care spaces, Beth has supported communities through trauma, transformation, and systems change. For more than a decade, they have been engaged in cultural resurgence, resistance to colonial harm, and community-led reconciliation.
Beth self-describes as anti-racist, anti-ableist, anti-sanist, anti-colonial, trans-affirming/celebrating and anti-oppressive. They carry a heart of care and solidarity for people with diverse lived experiences to thrive—especially those who are Queer, racialized, neurodivergent, disabled, or navigating mental health systems.
Both circles are free to attend, but registration is required.
